WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU, whether you are an artist or not, about why art matters to you, to your community, and to our country. Tell us how it has affected your life.

Here’s what you do:

Record a short personal video (make sure the camera is filming horizontally and not vertically), about how the arts or humanities have affected your life or your community. The video can be personal, funny, serious, it doesn’t matter. Just be yourself. And it doesn’t have to be complicated: you can use the camera on your phone or your computer. (Filmmakers: if you want to make an edited short, or something with a higher production value, we will not be the ones to stop you.)

UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO to youtube and email the link to us using our submission form below. If you don't have a YouTube account, here are INSTRUCTIONS to set one up.

Make sure the title of your video reads: Artists Resist - Your Name. This is very important in order for the video to be searchable. Equally important is to make sure that the video is set to public.

Along with your video link, please let us know your city and state location; this adds to the national feel of our community.

Some of the videos will be featured on the website or social media, so if you'd like us to put a link to your personal website, please include it in the submission form.
